Meet The Fockers

What better way for the holy-trinity to hang out than to catch a movie. and tat was just exactly wat we did. The sequel to Meet The Parents, kinda liked wat i saw in the trailers, which made me wana catch it. It turned out to be a-ok. Jock and I-LOVE-YEW-ASS-AYE kinda phamily meets the HIPPIE family. Think Darma n Greg. Just that tis stars Ben Stiller, and sure to be a hit comedy. Dustin Hoffman was excellent playing a comedic role, Mr Gaylord Senior. Its funny lah, but the joke kinda dry, wateva that means.

KUNGFU HUSTLE

Now this is a gem of a movie. Stepehen Chow at the helm, and you'd expect notin less. No LOTR to look forward to the closing year, but this movie is surely a superb alternative. Jokes aside, it really is effects-laden and must have surely cost an a-bomb to produce. The normal comedic routine of Stepehn Chow, is sure to make you laugh every few minutes. Wat i didnt expect tho, was that, there was an underlying theme of Underdog made good, and not to be intimidated by the sheer size of a grp. At times it gets too serious for a comedy. Im impressed at the way Chinese cinema is heading to. Even for a comedy, it can as impressive as this. Malay cinema, only now is getting the attention of the world with a big budget movie Puteri Gunung Ledang. Sure took a long while for it. With Stephen Chow ard, Chinese comedy is in good hands.
