And so, while i was admiring the grandeur of the fireworks down at the esplanade, another grandeur of an event was happening over at our neighbours up north. Apparently, the NYE gig at Paul's place (whereby Force Vomit was scheduled to play) was raided by their local polisi. The reason, it was suspected to be a Black Mental (as the huge headlines went in the TV3 website) gathering. A few members of the FV entourage were rounded and locked up for a while. But everyone's safe now.

Apparently TV3 showed some clips of the raid on NYE itself. So maybe u can check wif your parents or sumtin. It turned out to be some media circus. Worse, they were trying to associate the gig with the Pesta Seks at Langkawi. Jeez.

Apparently Black Metal is the latest fad among the authorities now. Force Vomit, black metal? Yea, and I was born in Tanzania. NOT! And no, my bro doesnt do any human sacrifices at home, nor does he down his nasi lemak wif a nice warm glass of blood.
