Spain vs Ukraine : Now this i will go for a Spain win. 2-1 to Espanyol.

Tunisia vs Saudi Arabia : Now here for the battle for oil n bragging rights. Winner receives 40 camels, wif 3 humps. I'd say Saudi win. 1-0 to Saudi.

Deutchsland vs Poland : I'd go for a home win. 2-0 to Germany. And no one gets sent to the gas chambers.

let me echo wat mr elfian has just posted. Yes its finally here. And if the opening games last nite were an inkling of wat was going to happen for the next month, then i will have to be on lots of MCs. Germany 2006 looks completely different from the previous teams that they have put out. Juergen Klinsmann's tactics last nite were spot on against a team like Costa Rica but i'm not sure if these tactics wld work in the knockout stages if they get thru. the germany of old wld not let players like paolo mutton-chope score 2 goals easily like last nite. For Costa Rica, it was obvious that they had a lot of heart but lacked the tactical acument and experience at this level. After getting their 2nd goal, they still didnt look like getting the equaliser.But wat abt the goals from Torsten Frings and Bastian Schewpp-so-difficult-to-spell-his-name-ger. definitely goals of the tournament so far.
The second game was not a goalfest like the first, but those Ecuadorians really shocked the Poles with their smart tactics. i must admit i tot poland wld be too strong for them, but the South Americans proved otherwise. in the 2nd half, Poland was denied by the poles(no pun intended) not once but twice. Unlucky, but in the end Ecuador deserved the win.
looking forward to the england game this evening.
